Because momentum has such a great impact, leaders try to control it. That’s why in basketball games, for instance, when the opposing team is scoring a lot of unanswered points...a good coach will call a time-out. Why? He’s trying to stop the other team’s momentum.
Expecting customers to get excited about your product without your help is expecting too much.
Marketing is all about building and maintaining relationships. Even before leads become customers, the first impression they get from every piece of collateral, newsletter or social media post you put out depends a lot on the spirit behind it.
So what does yours say about your business and how can you make sure you show your enthusiasm to connect better with leads and customers?
◽EXPRESS YOUR PASSION 🔥: Since marketing is all about building relationships, part of showing how much you love what you do can impact positively on your customers. I don't mean over sharing mode but simply distinguish yourself among the hundreds of professionals in your niche.
◽EXUDE POSITIVE ENERGIES 💪 - Make sure that you maintain a positive level of energy and enthusiasm with customers in person. This can be quite difficult especially if you are having a bad day, but there is something to the old tip “fake it, till you make it.” Take a look at your marketing – from your social media to your branding and print collateral. What is the voice behind it? Is it dull and could use some pep?
If it does, try something different and infuse a little enthusiasm.
