Happy Friyay! Who’s ready for the weekend? 🙋♀️ I’m spending mine in New Orleans (thankfully our hotel has water again). I’ll be capturing content for @travelbankhq and joining @risingtidesociety for the #rtsretreat — so excited! 🎉 This shots from last weekend when we roadtripped from Joshua Tree to Salvation Mountain! 🌈🌵🚙💨
Sunrise at Diamond Beach in Iceland ❤️ @leefilters 0.3 soft grad and @manfrottoimaginemore My Omani photography sista @layal.photography inspired me with this one ❤️. She put an amazing capture using 100+ pictures of Stokksnes it would be worth checking it out, it took me back to when we were there.

5,392 miles 📍 Marseille, France | I have talked about the calanques previously but I will bring them up again. If you go to Marseille and don’t visit these you are missing out! It takes a bus ride and a long hike but it is so worth it to see these beautiful inlets of blue-green water! DM me for more details! 🐳
It’s a strange feeling, having a child who’s a different nationality then you. Like her roots are growing in different soil than mine did as a baby. My youngest daughter was born in the middle of Manhattan, and during the many first days we ended up spending in the hospital, I decided to see this as our city. A place we could wander and experience together. That’s why I was so happy when @pathport (who makes the most amazing e-book travel guides) asked me to do their first kids friendly guide to cool places in New York in collaboration with @mercibisous. Our favorite spots to hang out, shop, eat, read books and drink coffee.
If you’re stopping by New York with your little one, please check it out, or see more on my blog (there’s a direct link in my profile).
At this point I feel more grateful and blessed for living and working in a city – that could be said to be – safe from the threat of volcanic eruption.
There are people, let’s say these farmers, who have to take the risks everyday just for working and earn their living even though the area they are working has been categorized as red zone.
But, somehow, I found this frame so peaceful. It‘s like a hidden message that wants to say... “hey, whatever is going on today, whatever is your problems now, just relax. Okay? Everything’s gonna be alright. Everything’s gonna be alright.” 😊
There’s so many things I love about photographing people, places and food for Edible magazine, but this time my favorite thing was learning about La Bonita, an amazing Mexican restaurant in Ottawa, and @gongfubao showing me that I should be eating baos every day of my life because they were just that delicious 🍽📸
We’ve seen a lot of incredible parts of the US this year, but the one I most want to return to is Mt. Shasta, California. This place is unreal! It has such a high energy too—everyone we encountered here was so friendly and kind. I have no doubt it’s no coincidence. And do you guys remember me saying that Maui is the heart chakra of the earth? Because Mt. Shasta is considered to be the crown chakra—an earthly gateway to higher human consciousness! Let’s go let’s go let’s go! 🕉 If you could pick one destination to return to that you’ve already visited, where would it be?
The train ride between Kandy and Ella is supposed to be one of the most beautiful in the world. It definitely is but when you don‘t book your seat a few month in advance you have to stand for the whole ride and squeeze in with far too many people. If you‘re unlucky you even can‘t see anything of the beautiful landscape.
Here‘s my tip:
If you haven‘t booked in advance and it’s too crowded you could still ride the train from Ella to Badulla. We had a whole compartment to ourselves and also crossed the famous Nine Arches Bridge.
