Blue Lagoon, Iceland 🇮🇸 When you work hard all year round and you get a bit of time off and do some travelling you sometimes find you need a holiday from you holiday! You often notch up 25,000 steps on your iPhone when you'd normally just hit 10,000. We're all guilty of just wanted to see this and see that and walk to this part of town. Well I'm here to tell you that's absolutely perfect when travelling and you should do that HOWEVER factor in some relaxation and some "you time". Believe it or not one of the first things I look for when booking a city break or a long weekend is a spa or thermal bath if available. The reason being is I know I am going to be on foot seeing lots there is to see but as long as I have that one moment of relaxation I know I'll come back refreshed both mentally and physically! Also the Blue Lagoon in Iceland has to be one of the coolest places to do it 😊
•There is no better way to end a journey than being lost in the outback sleeping outside under the stars and watching shooting stars and the Milky Way✨💫•
Traveling through New Zealand, Fiji and Australia has been incredibly insane. From a glacier walk to endless beaches, from adrenaline adventures to chilled evenings by the ocean, from magnificent mountain hikes to surf lessons - we loved every second of it! ••• N e x t S t o p 🔜 H O M E

“When is the best time to visit Patagonia?”
A: October to March are spring and summer seasons when the days are longer, and warmer. 🌼☀️
March-April are recommended for the shoulder season. 🍁🍂 May-August are late fall and winter with the shortest days of the year. (8 hours of sunlight) ✨❄️
Patagonia is always beautiful. However, depending what you are planning to do, it is important to know when to visit as the National Park’s rules and schedules change depending on the month.
No matter the season, the weather is extremely erratic in Patagonia and it is essential to have appropriate clothing and gear.
Feel free to send us a message if you have any questions about visiting Patagonia! (📸: @dansmoe) #venturepatagonia
Be ready by 5am they said,
Wear comfortable shoes and bring layers,
We drove up in darkness,
our scuffling shoes and
fluttering heartbeats the only sound;
The desert can be so quiet. .
A group of local men met us with their traditional checkered scarves
Holding the reigns to their camels,
Waiting and ready for us.
We went in twos, clinging to each other
In safety and excitement. .
We went towards the majestic structures
as the Sun slowly lit its way
up the horizon
framing our silhouettes
against the sky .🌟💕
When our path was lit,
Warm rays bringing the desert back to life,
We continued towards the Pyramids.
Awestruck by the magnificent feat this ancient people accomplished .
There is magic here ✨
When they asked if I wanted to climb in
Down into the Pharoah’s tomb,
how could I say no. .
The weight of the years pressed down around me,
The air heavy and yet somehow still fresh.
Down down down
I climbed into the tomb. .
Alas our resting spot awaited,
A stone enclosure with our massive bed.
The afterlife awaits. 💫
There is magic here ✨
