This bamboo, beachfront bar at @BambooParacas Eco Resort is the perfect place sip a Pisco Sour, a drink originating from this region of Peru. It is also the ideal spot to catch a glimpse of the wind surfers as they soar above the local flock of pink flamingos!

So the world is a beautiful place to live in. This thought definitely makes its way in my mind which often tries to relocate to a place where disappointments have made a space.
Anyway. Just wanted to tell you people the life will throw lemons and then make sure you collect them all to have tequila with people who cross your path and show you light of the world.
Met @parveenkrsinghal just two days back regarding work but got to hear his story. He is 23 and is COO of @wittyfeed. His statement that when you know how to build up an empire, you can do that anytime. Its all about not giving up. Thats the point when you realise you have nothing to lose. So inspiring. Made me realise that no matter how many times you lose, what matters is to never give up ever. Just the way @aj.freebird taught me while we met for the first time on trek.
So blessed to have such beautiful souls around me.
Goa, you are a blessing! 😘
The strangest thing has happened!
It's no secret I'm a HUGE wuss about winter. But, after spending a few days in Detroit--of all places--I don't loath the cold as deeply. .
The city is beautiful. But it's the people around me that brought enough warmth to thaw even the chill of the -11 degree wind chill. .
I'm overflowing with love and gratitude to have found this tribe. My tribe. The #KiaFamily is a group so full of sincerity and goodness backed by a brand with the same qualities. I'm beyond thankful to be part of it. ❤
Yesterday was fun. We visited a beach up north we hadn’t been to yet and spent most the day basking in the sun and body surfing the waves. The beach was unlike any near us for this one meets the ocean rather than a bay. It is made up of unpredictable currents and caters to surfers more than waders. And for as much as I love swimming and spending my time in the ocean, I have yet to master the art of body surfing. Instead I spent most of my time face planting into waves and filling my lungs with salt water. I lost my bottoms more times than planned, mooning those on the beach unexpectedly (you’re welcome). I even got caught in the undertow which ran me straight into my sister mid wave. By the end of it all I’m pretty sure my entire body was made up of seaweed and salt water. But even as I shook the water from my ears, I felt a sense of bliss and contentment for with every wave I fell more in love with the serenity of the ocean.
I know I say this a lot but I truly believe I was a mermaid in a past life. Like no joke. There’s just something about how I feel when I dip my toes in the water. And I’ve realized it more and more since moving to Australia. Being so close to the water has given me more peace of mind than anything before. I run to the water for clarity. I swim in the water for calming. I wade in the water for any sort of sensation. And after my fingers are pruned and my body tired, I feel as if I’ve been cleansed of the weight I held before. To me, water is the most majestic and powerful element.
And then, to top the day off, we drank margaritas and made my sweet sweet grandmas famous Stromboli recipe which hit. the. spot. After that we drank tea, sang show tunes, and played cards. These little moments with the fam are what make it all worth it.
The displays at the Manitoba Museum are pretty retro but I love that, and the fonts used on some of the displays are super 70s. It’s an interesting spot, with lots of artifacts from First Nations and explanations as to how and why Manitoba grew the way it did.
Carefree childhood! Man, I miss those days in India playing on the streets, moving aside when a big car tries to shove its way up our small road. I am sure exactly what these little guys were thinking as we drove past in a 1957 Chevy! #havanastories ✨✨TELL ME: is street photography rude? Especially when you click pictures of strangers on the road? Do you always ask for permission or try to get a picture before your muse realises it? #streetphotography#visualoflife
Honestly, I don’t think I could put into words how perfect my Sky Pool Suite at @dreamhkt was. When I walked into my room where I would be staying for three nights, I was instantly all smiles. Find out everything this Hotel & Spa includes on Simplypamarie.com *link in bio*
