Now is the time (off season) to take everything I have learned and begin to create my own special recipe. And like a true "MAD SCIENTIST", I'm doing the trials on myself 😈
First off, I have been manipulating training times and dosing my pre-workout. Waking up at 5 and taking about 600mg of caffeine with 10g of creatine seems to be great. Besides almost shitting my shorts in warmups. I felt a lot more "dialed in" and SMOKED my working sets.
As far as choosing weights and reps. I wanted to see if I made a 10% jump in weight(from 60% of 1RM to 70%) and drop my reps 10% (10 reps to 9). I would say it was a proper decision, and the real test will be the next 2 weeks.
And for my music choice. I put on Pandora, it started playing baby making music and I decided to stick with it ☺

It's #squatday today, my favorite day! Worked up to 360x2 and it felt good, so I pushed it to 370x2, both of which are PRs for reps. Not gonna lie; I was feeling pretty stoked about this.
Also, not sure if proud or embarrassed because ... I ripped my @mbslingshot #STrongsleeves ... not sure if #gains or too many French fries ... not sure if ready to size out of size large and tackle the XLs, but #ohmyquad , my quads are becoming massive. 🤔😂

What a fawwkin week so far! Great deadlift day on Sunday and a great squat day today. Probably one of the better Squat sessions I’ve had this prep. Wraps are coming together, oly shoes are back in play and everything clicked. Not to mention the 420lbs on my back felt light as heck. How far will I go with wraps...who knows! Ssb and bench today, went light with ssb to let my tight knees and hips rest. Did ssb 405 for 3x3, then went to banded bench, with my top set being 300x4 with 70 pounds of band tension.
