I have been a bit distracted lately. I haven’t fallen off any sort of wagon or anything like that as far as a healthy lifestyle, but I want to refocus. Today I give up sugar 100%. No sweets and making smart choices for foods and what goes in my body. I am totally vegan, but I get stuck when it comes to snacks and treats forward health. I need to remind myself that sugar isn’t 100% vegan. Here we go🌱💪🏼
✖️BINGE EATING✖️... this is something I need to talk about. After I lost weight I was still in that mentality of ‘I need to be slim’ but not only that - it was amplified. I wanted to be slimmer and fitter ASAP so every day I restricted my calories more and more. Until I would get to a point where I would be craving more food 🤦♀️ But rather than eating MORE nutritious food in quantity, I would mistake my craving for thinking I wanted a small snack of processed food. So I would peck at a small vegan chocolate, or eat a small cookie, and all of a sudden it would trigger this binge of processed crap that I know my body didn’t want, but I ate it anyway 🙅🍭 I know there are other people out there like me who want to still lose weight and be fit but it all comes in time and I can say that from first hand experience. I’ve finally started upping my calorie intake and I’ve tried to stop fearing high calorie foods like avocado and dates and potatoes and oats 🌱. And honestly it’s been difficult. It’s been really hard to get out of the state of mind where all I want to do is hide myself away from food. But it’s something that will take time and something I need to gradually work on. Don’t restrict your calories. Eat intuitively. Eat whole, plant based foods that your body will thrive off rather than processed junk 🌱💪💖 Don’t be afraid of carbs and healthy fats. I’ve always had this problem and I can guarantee that veganism has helped me, but this is something I’m still working on and something I’m still trying to learn ❣️ So here’s a piccy of my breakfast: chocolate oats with banana and goji berries 🌱✨
@grown_bne is doing so many things right. From locally sourced produce, house made everything (or close too at least), a focus on sustainability, and unique ceramics and decor, it’s a wonder that this place didn’t exist sooner! Oh and did I mention their entire menu is completely PLANT BASED 🌱Hard to hide that I’m a big fan of this fine establishment, always ready to head back here anytime 😌
🇫🇷French crepes done right! And Vegan Friendly!!! Pictured here is “The Vegan”, made with a buckwheat base, filled with avocado, mushroom, caramelised onions and topped with spinach, olive oil and a balsamic drizzle. Don’t get me wrong, it was tasty but just not the most filling choice. Recommend coming here for a light snack but don’t expect to leave feeling overly full. Otherwise, staff were lovely and the decor was très chic 🙂
This Mushroom and Tofu bowl from KU-O is extremely good value for money, only setting you back $10.90! Bloody bargain! The Japanese decor in this little Sunnybank spot is a charming and cosy go-to spot 🍽
Tofu, mushroom and pak choy noodle soup 🍲 This is one of my favourite comfort meals to make when cold weather strikes ❄️ Plenty of ginger and garlic in the soup helps with digestion and immunity. A little side bowl of soy sauce and birds eye chillies provides a hot kick that’ll clear your sinuses and set your mouth on fire 😂🔥
@pitstoppizzacoorparoo is one of the few independent pizza places that caters to vegans and geeeez do they do a great job! Fresh ingredients and a decent spread of toppings delivers great flavour. Pictured here is the Halloween vegan pizza 🎃
@pawpawasiankitchen has a great selection of vegan options including a TASTY pad thai, cashew nut stir fry and crunchy sweet potato chips 🍠🍟 Helpful and accomodating staff make the newest addition to the Venzin Group a total crowd pleaser 😊

. (RUS is below👇) If you had a choice between a thin waist and an unlimited supply of cupcakes - what kind of cupcake would you eat first? In the coffee house "Love Organic Take Away", we clearly see how difficult it is to combine dreams of harmony🌟 and eating sweets🙊. Therefore, when developing the desserts, three most important criteria were taken into account: they should be tasty, low-calorie and healthy.
Everyone loves cupcakes. In Geneva as well. We conducted our small investigation and found out which tastes enjoy the greatest popularity. So in the menu of our coffee house four types of cupcakes appeared according to the author's recipe: carrot🥕, chocolate🍫, lemon🍋 and banana🍌. All insanely delicious, low-calorie and useful. But to our surprise, visitors began to order only carrot cakes. The carrot cake became so popular that even the chocolate cake could not withstand competition. Therefore, we decided to leave only carrot cake on the menu. And we have never regretted it.
Our carrot cake with gluten, but it is vegan. In the composition, there is no chemistry, artificial flavour enhancers and refined sugar. The cake is made from bio-products and always served as fresh as possible. This dessert is very tasty and useful. Just one cupcake is rich in fiber, vitamins and microelements; it perfectly satisfies hunger, protects your figure and gives pleasure.
