👍🏽The Raw Alfredo Sauce was Awesome, Cashew Based. Also Used As Dipping Sauce for Vegan Savory Spinach & Artichoke Rolls.

🤤Raw Alfredo Sauce * 1 cup raw cashews , soaked for at least an hour, and drained
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 clove raw garlic
* 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half of a lemon)
* 1/4 tsp . onion powder
* 1/2 tsp . sea salt
* pepper , to taste
✌🏽Throw all the ingredients into a high-powered Blender,
🔹Blend until smooth and creamy.
▪️Adjust seasoning to taste, then serve over your favorite raw pasta

It is important to know when coming off birth control (or really while on it as well) that the body has often become deficient in many vitamins and minerals due to this very medication... One in particular is zinc. Zinc is a key minerals for both male and female fertility! It is critical to the synthesis of DNA and RNA, as well as healthy egg and sperm production. Zinc can also help promote hormonal balance and a healthy menstrual cycle which is why I am including it in my diet on the regular 🙌 Pumpkin seeds are extremely high in zinc. Lately I have been adding raw and organic pumpkin seeds on top of my salads which is 👌If you think your body may be very deficient in zinc you can also supplement with it but look for a supplement that comes from whole foods if possible!
It’s difficult to replicate good, baked mac and cheez without the cheese! 🧀🚫 But, I am on the quest. 👩🏻🍳 Tonight’s dinner came pretty close!
I boiled a sweet potato and two carrots, added them to the blender along with reserved water from the pot, almond milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, a capful of apple cider vinegar and a small squirt of yellow mustard. It was creamy and really delicious. I tossed some frozen broccoli and cauliflower into the pot of pasta when it had about 5 minutes left. I layered it in a meatloaf pan with a small amount of @followyourheart mozzarella cheese and topped with panko breadcrumbs. Then, baked at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until the top is crispy.
When I perfect it, I’ll post the recipe, but until then, have fun experimenting!
