*TRAVEL DISCLAIMER* read below 🇭🇰 Beautiful Hong Kong skyline. If you searched what this place looked like 15 years ago, you would see there was only the Kowloon side. The Victoria/Central side (what I’m looking at) is fairly new and keeps growing. Just over that hill is Tian Tan (Big Buddha) and some of the prettiest beaches...and pink dolphins!! Hong Kong may be the food and shopping Mecca of the world but just a short ride or flight away and you can be on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world too. Make this your next layover and you can thank me later 😘 #Hongkong#kowloon#central#victoriaharbor#skyline#skyscraper#travelhongkong#layover
Standing 18 meters tall, equivalent to a six-story building, the giant Rubber Duck that once caused a stir in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor years ago, showed up at Dian Kingdom Wetland Park in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province. Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman created this adorable rubber duck. It has been touring the world since 2007 and made appearances at Beijing in 2013 and Shanghai in 2014. Rubber Duck arrived in Kunming last December and will be exhibited until March 2, 2018. This is the 30th stop of its world tour, which is accompanied by Yunnan’s ethnic culture and tourism. “The duck makes people of all ages feel soft and nice when it floats on the water. It seems like that it can heal people’s hearts,” said the head of the organizing committee of the Rubber Duck carnival.
