This time, last year. Really annoyed I am sick in bed because a woman’s place is in the resistance ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻 (P.S. Best protest sign I’ve seen so far: “This episode of Black Mirror sucks”) #womensmarchnyc
And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears!
I am proud to be a strong fearless woman and proud to call all you you beautiful babes my sisters. #womansmarch#curatedcool#curatedcoolbali
Photo of the Day: Tower Bridge from the center of the Tower of London! I was lucky to have gotten so much sun yesterday, despite it being absolutely FREEZING the entire day! I had been told by many people that the Tower of London was overrated, but I completely disagree. I had an amazing time, and could have stayed all day if I wasn’t freezing my butt off. If you’re a history buff, the Tower of London is definitely for you. My favorite part was the living history performers that they have in the medieval quarters. I spent over an hour talking with one of the living historians about the influence of law in the 13th century, the history of books, economic evolution and the start of international law... my little nerdy heart was full of delight. Thank you to living historian/actor from the Ph.D. program at University College London... if you’re out there somewhere reading this, know that you made my day! 🏰🇬🇧

Tip of the Day: Know your interests. As I said, a lot of tourist sites told me the Tower of London was overrated. But I know myself pretty well- I know that I love in-depth history and I know that I can spend hours in historically focused places that others spend minutes in. So I read up on the Tower of London on my own, and decided it would be something I would thoroughly enjoy. Tourist pages like TripAdvisor and Yelp are useful in general, but you might not be the average traveler! Take the time to sift through possible landmarks or museums and choose the ones that best suit YOUR interests, not the ones that best suit the itinerary of the “average” traveler. I promise that thinking this way will make your trips that much more thrilling, engaging, and memorable.
