I love people, but I will always hold the ones I love the most closest to my heart! Hoping for a speedy recovery for my nanny! It's great when I get some free time to visit her and get some laughs in instead of just over the phone !! If there is anyone who's taught me to stay true to myself and not to care what others think about me its her!!! ❤️ #love#family#familymatters#familyfirst
You've heard it before. But it's worth mentioning again - in fact, as many times as it takes.
Having a bad day? Feeling stuck in your business? Try to focus on the good.
There's a little goodness everywhere you look. In a review from a happy client, in a smile from a stranger passing by, in a self-care practice that helps calm your mind. It doesn't matter where - as long as you find the good, and focus on that.
Sometimes I lose sight of this very statement and the true character of God! He is right, just and holy! All praise and glory! Thank you God for You, for your Son Jesus Christ and for Your Holy Spirit! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Let’s get our feet wet with some tax basics! If you’ve heard of the W-9 form, but don't know if you need it- keep reading!
➡️WHAT is the W-9 form? 〰️ If your business paid a person/company over $600 for a service or if someone paid you over $600 for your services, the IRS wants to know about it. This form simply collects info about the service provider (such as name, address, and EIN).
➡️WHO has to fill it out? 〰️If you provided services to another business owner and were paid $600 or more for it and are NOT their employee, you will need to send the biz owner your W-9.
Likewise, if you hired someone for $600+ worth of services, you will need to collect a W-9 from the biz owner (ie. coaches, social media marketers, photographers, web designers, tech servicers, consultants, any freelancer, any independent contractor).
➡️HOW do I complete the process? 〰️To send your W-9 form, download the form from IRS.GOV/W9. Fill it out once and send a copy to whomever asks for it. (Don’t forget to update it if you change your name, address, or EIN)
➡️WHEN do I fill it out? 〰️ Grab a form from the service provider as soon as possible. Don’t wait until the end of the year. It can get really messy. People forget, they neglect to do them, they never send them. For a fee, your bookkeeper/accountant will take over this responsibility and you can skip the headache.
➡️A good rule of thumb is to get a copy of the W-9 BEFORE you send the first payment to the service provider. If they want payment, they’ll provide it.
