I think that God places gentle reminders of purpose and purity in the seasons of our lives where we need them the most.
Sometimes, God’s voice is direct and outspoken. But other times, God quietly reveals His love for us subtly.
Life is loud, busy, and obnoxious. We often get caught up in struggles and tough situations in the craziness of life.
His stillness, though, is sufficient. ✨
Sunday’s are for the books.📚 A busy weekend entails a long Sunday afternoon of writing essays and studying for exams. Though, warm chili and, lots of coffee, and a nap in between makes it bearable.
How will you spend yours?🍂
You were there for me through the hardest breakup. You were there for me when I first started college and felt alone. You made sure I was never isolated. You and I almost stayed the night unintentionally at Pinnacle Mountain because we parked on the opposite side of the mountain. You were my maid of honor in our wedding and stayed up with me the night before trying to help me write my vows even though I ended up writing them on the way to the venue. You are celebrated everyday, but since today is your birthday, I gotta make a super sappy post. 😏
Happy Birthday. 🎈 See you soon. 🤗

Finding time to be joyous in busy seasons of life is something that you have to work at day by day. Some days are harder than others and some days you just want to sit and cry and be left alone because it seems overwhelming. Being a senior in college with two strenuous, monotonous semesters left, starting a new business and maintaining personal growth as well is really hard to keep up with at times. But God’s strength is sufficient enough for me to push through, even when it’s hard. He carries me when I no longer understand which direction to pursue next. He is a Creator of emotions and He allows us to express ourselves so freely. I am finding joy this morning because despite the hardships, I have a story to tell and people to share that story with. 🌿

It is so crazy to think that this time last year, Cody and I barely even had a foundation for our house two months before we got married.
Y’all, we have been married for 8 months and I wouldn’t trade our home for anything. We are on our second house party and decorating for Halloween has literally been so exciting for us to be able to see pictures from a year ago and how a year ago, we didn’t even have walls to hang pictures on yet. It is so crazy to think that we build our home, from the ground up in 6 short months.
Love this journey God has blessed us with. If you have a big goal in mind or a dream that may seem out of reach, pray it through. God will provide the soul for the fruit you are bearing.
