join me for six nights, seven days in Spanish heaven!!! Located amongst the peaceful UNESCO world heritage listed Tramuntana Mountains, , this magical place is a rustic chic villa, the perfect spot for nourishing your body and soul.
Every room has its own style, with a rustic touch, and has it's private bathroom with bath or shower.
The Villa is surrounded by olive trees and lush Mediterranean hills. Everything about this place invites you to enjoy relaxing moments. Find time for deep nourishment of the mind, body and senses.
This retreat will explore the ancient philosophy of Yoga as a lifestyle.
Morning mysore practice will be followed by group pranayama, meditation and 3 afternoon workshops on diet, health and lifestyle according to the yogic shastra or texts. We will be looking at how to adapt your life to the changes that happen on the mat.
A space will be held for students to explore, play, ask questions and learn how to build a steady, stable asana practice.
There will be time for excursions, swimming and relaxing. Wether you like to chill or explore on this retreat you can sit back and enjoy the pool in the garden surrounded by olive trees and flowers, take a walk in the fields, or relax on a gorgeous beach.
There will be two daily vegan/vegetarian meals per day - a late post practice brunch and an early dinner.
All meals served on the retreat are prepared with local ingredients, most of which are grown on the land.

So many different bodies, so many alignment cues, how do we make sense of it all? In my opinion, the answer lies within interoceptive awareness, re-landing in the body by feeling what's happening on the inside---an amazing portable gift to carry from our mats out into the moments of our lives.⭐️Curious about side angle pose and this interesting collection of pics? Yoga postures are made up of a collection of joint movements. Everyone has structural limitations either skeletally or soft tissue-driven. The next time you are on your mat, practice feeling the ranges of motion it takes to get into a pose as well as where your limitations are. -
Here are three ranges to consider in side angle pose:
1. The front arm shoulder/Notice in the top left pic how weight is collapsed into the shoulder joint. Try engaging to lift and expand here instead.
2. The front thigh angle/ notice the downward angle of the thigh in the top middle pic. Try keeping the thigh at least parallel to the ground to avoid over-stressing the hamstring attachment on the sit bone.
3. The space between front hip and thigh/notice the maxed out flexion between hip and thigh in top right pic /as you angle the torso forward into this pose, your hip tilts towards your thigh. At some point this space will max out. Try feeling for this point in your body and honor this end of range rather than squeezing tighter into this flexion to get the hand to the floor.
